About Vickys Family Tree
Please sign in to see more.
This started out as a "jolly" and then turned into an obsession - A long and continuing labour of love and dedication. It has also had a rather profound effect on me. This is a record for the future generations.

I started in earnest in January 06 and have to thank so many people for their kind and patient help.

If you are a family member and spot any mistakes or would
like your information added please contact me. Living persons details are hidden for privacy and confidentiality.

My ultimate aim is to prepare a history of the various branches of the family so by adding your details, stories, observations, rememberances etc I can add flesh to the names. Any copies of documents or photos would be greatly appreciated. My hope is for this to exist for future generations and to have a record of all the people who made us who we are today.

Doing this research has made me very proud of the family name(s) and given me a new respect and pride in the current family. I have "found" people who would have been long forgotten, like Helene Herpe who died age 2, Mabel Lane and Amy Forster, people who although they died young should not be forgotten or overlooked. All these people before us, should have their rightful place in OUR history.

I also have the tree on Genes Reunited and Family Tree Maker. Please don't forget to sign the guestbook.

May I just add that whilst I am willing to share ALL information that I have found and verified (with many long hours and often with financial outlay) and then collated, I do ask that you please me ask first/let me know that you are taking certain information. Any information that I receive from anyone (and various places/sources) is always credited to that person/source and stored in my computerised and paper records.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
